Well folks, here it is. After high demand, and a little curiosity on my part, I've started my blog and will be posting here as often as I can about my days and experiences in Berlin and Deutschland. This will make it much more simpler than constantly emailing everyone and their brother back and forth too. I'm not too sure about pictures yet though.....I've gotta look into that one. If I can't post pictures on here I think I might just make an online photo album that everyone (facebookers are the exception) can view. Otherwise you're just going to have to be patient and wait till I go home.
In other news, today was an easy day. We visited a German Gynamsium, which is basically the equivalent to an American High School. We compared cultures and discussed differences. It was alot of fun and we actually met a kid, Lukas, who wants to watch the Superbowl with us. Then we ate lunch, and I came back to my apartment to work on my photography project and just surf the web. I find being here its hard to get a good sense of American news and sports so I deeply rely on the web and drudgereport.com. I hope dinner is soon, its about 6PM here now. I think we're making it ourselves.

- I am 22 years old and just graduated from Roger Williams University. I received a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and German. I have lived in Maine my whole life. I've spent the last few years in Scarborough and love it. I decided to study abroad in Berlin, Germany during the Spring semester of my junior year. I wanted to try a new culture and get a better understanding of Germany as a whole. What better way than to live there!? That's why I started blogging. In order to keep my family and friends in touch and in tune with what I was doing in Germany I created a blog to tell everyone about my adventures. Now I've returned and am currently on the job search. Recently, I've been contributing as a blogger for my true passion - politics. My former organization, the College Republicans at RWU, created a blog and I am a proud contributor. I love to keep liberals in line, and make sure the truth is known!
